                        Coyote

Old man coyote I admire you

Say you were following two sisters

And you came, as we all do, to the crossroads

There those beauties part -one east one west

And without so much as a whisper

Spear in air you split yourself in two

And you yourself  both to the east and to the west

How humbly we try to do our very best

To be like you the clever shape shifter

Know and love the best of both sisters

Coyote -

The lightness of your step on mother's face

The ease with which you win your human race.
