Our neighbor Lou came over today
Toughest piece of raw hide I ever met
Uses his Belgian hosses to lumber
Delivered me my first grapple load of wood
Now just to show me how – he’s on that pile
A Stihl 500 in his right hand
Peevee pulls himself up on those tree trunks
Rolls logs off there like a game of pick up sticks
While with his left hand he knocks his Camels
Straight up, one out, in his mouth and lit
That big silver Zippo all flight and flame
The same way he talks with his busy bees
That man on his hosses like a bird on an elephant
Lover of all things that are elegant
