[Back to Sebastian Lockwood's Odysseylive!]

Then
I waited for you at the River Gods
Irish pub on Riverrun avenue
Tequila and Diva on the stereo
Reading my poems I wish to pass to you
I waited for you in the slow snow
Cars drifting by, smoke from an ashtray
You so young and win full, wistful
All the seas of your energy pent
Already the criss cross carve of your tongue
Waiting alone feels like eternity
Knowing within knowing you will not come
This sleek will of poets fraternity
Oh to know what we know now back then
Pass it on with a holler and amen.
